About:
Benoît Missolin embodies the concept of luxury-pop fashion with his use of vivid colours, unconventional prints and exquisite embroidery.

Born in Avignon in 1973, Benoît spent his childhood in Provence where as a child he created outfits for his toy Snoopy, scribbled designs in the margins of his schoolbook and was in love with the world of art and design.

This surge of creativity never disappeared, when as a young man Benoît sent his sketches to fashion houses in Paris. A response from Christian Lacroix, began his career in the fashion industry with the world famous couturier as his guide.

After attending the school of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture, and then at Studio Berçot, Benoît worked at Christian Lacroix, Thierry Mugler and Givenchy.

His first collection was in 1997, and gained industry recognition in 2001when he presented his first mixed catwalk show inspired by the Tyrolese Disco. The following collections went from Croisiére à Hawaï to Piste aux étoiles, and after winning the Swiss Textile Award at the Gwand Festival, he found his passion for headpieces.

Benoît Missolin creates some of the most exquisite, unique and vivacious pieces of millinery on the luxury market, his brand is stocked in prestigious stores around the world.
